My desk...

Today I was sitting at my desk contemplating the time I actually spend sitting here on the computer. Hours upon hours I spend sitting in the office at this desk, writing papers, using the internet, editing photos, paying bills...

Naturally, I began taking pictures of my favorite room in the house. A few days ago I wasn't sure if I still liked the orange walls like I did when Jon first painted this room. But today I love orange.

I also love this quote by Abraham Lincoln that we hung on the wall - it was a gift from my mom.



My little project today was a shadow box. It's funny that it took me an hour to figure out how to piece together two pictures and four little flowers!

Charlie and Andra

This was a fun day - because it POURED RAIN the entire time we were out. You wouldn't know it, but poor Charlie had to frequently wipe his forehead between photos. I had to do quite the maneuvering to keep the camera lense out of the rain, and from getting steamed over! All that to say, we still had fun. Moral of the story: don't let cloudy days bring you down, because they can produce some pretty cool photos!
